Kat Gesh-Wilson is a highly skilled healthcare executive and sought-after industry speaker with strong government operational expertise and over 25 years of experience in Medicare, D-SNP, Medicaid (7-States) operations, managed care (including the California market), new plan bid/RFP development, P&L ownership ($4B), P&L turnarounds, reducing administrative costs, increasing margin, reducing medical expense, continuous quality improvements, operational turnarounds, business process automation, claims management, and complex core system implementations/conversions (7 career conversions). She is consistently successful in increasing revenues, improving quality and productivity, spearheading system enhancements, executing business strategy, implementing new Medicaid and Medicare States and directing organizational transitions and reorganizations in tough markets.
Gesh-Wilson most recently was the SVP and Chief Operations Officer for Gateway Health and was previously COO of DST Health Solutions, VP and Federal segment owner at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, SVP for Universal American Corp., and COO for John Muir Health Network. Gesh-Wilson has served on numerous Boards of Directors, including the CAQH Core (National Board), DST Healthcare Customer Advisory Board (HCAB), Second Harvest Food Bank, Winston-Salem Symphony and currently serves on the HealthCare Information Management Inc. Board of Directors.
