Ann McGaffin has over 20 years of Accounting and Financial Management experience focused in the provider, hospital, international healthcare and health insurance markets.  She has a demonstrated track record of identifying cost reduction opportunities and partnering with executive leaders to improve financial operations as well as maximize revenue. A proven leader, Ms. McGaffin has expertise in change management best practices and business process optimization.

Prior to joining HCIM, Ann worked with Gateway Health Plan as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. During that time, she led key financial initiatives including the implementation of a new business line and departmental restructuring. She also spent 13 years with UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Health Center), working in various financial leadership roles in the Health Insurance Plan, International Services and Corporate Accounting areas. She also held the role of Manager Global Mobility for the International Services Division managing immigration and tax services for employees all over the world. McGaffin is a Six Sigma Green Belt with a passion for finance and accounting.

Ann earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, as well as an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Duquesne University. She is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
